Well, Ericka, Lindsay, Steve Pelofske and I met a couple of weeks ago to help finalize plans for the reunion in August. Among a round of beers and food, things seemed to actually get ironed out pretty well. We're looking at the major get-together at the Buffalo House, of course, and then a tour of the school Saturday morning around 11, followed by a picnic at Chub Lake. We wanted to get the park in Esko, but it was already taken--can you believe it? No one's ever using that thing!! Oh well. We figured Chub will be good for the kids to go swimming (and the adults, too).
I'm getting together next week with Ericka to get the invites out; be on the lookout for yours in the mail.
By the way, if anyone has any imput or suggestions, please let us know. Feedback is good!

Hey, that's funny that you chose the Buffalo House. I'm going to be there at the end of June here for my Dad's retirement party. It's a good place so I wouldn't mind going there again.
Was there going to be anything going on Friday during the day or just on the weekend? The reason I ask is my wife and I just might drive from Chicago vs fly (which would be cheaper even with gas as it is) I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Can we do the tour and picnic and stuff later in the day Saturday? Like 3:00 tour, 5:00 picnic? That way no one has to get up early after being out late on Friday? Also, is anything planned for Sunday?
Could we do a picnic at Park Point, instead of Chub Lake? Chub Lake is a bit far and kinda gross.
I think those are good suggestions. I personally have obligations on Saturday mornings and my husband likes to sleep in...so we probably wouldn't get anywhere until afternoon, either. -Kim
I think it's funny that some people think 11 is early.
I just got my invitation in the mail yesterday! (I recently moved so it was forwarded) I will send it in this week. I might send in some pics too. What about that video we made right before we graduated? That thing was great; we should definately show that along with embarassing photos. Hey does anyone still have have a VCR??
Also I think "anonymous" should sign in. I don't have a blog, but at least people know who I am when a respond to a one. It's free! =)
Got my invite too now! What I think is funny is touring the "new school"! Funny to think that our school is gone. I work with several kids who have gone to Esko and absolutely none of them remember the old school...weird! I've also heard all of our class pictures are up there somewhere...cuz I've been recognized by more then one of them from my senior picture. I think we should show our class tape, that'd be fun to see! Any of our old teachers going to be invited...it'd be fun to see some of them!!
